2013 marks the third time the Berlingo has received the honour and has head of Commercial Vehicles for Citroen Scott Michael describing himself and the company as “delighted”.

The Judges for the award, described how the van was in a “highly competitive” short list but that the fact that the Berlingo had a range of eco models, its’ own electric model and Trafficmaster as standard on all models was what marked it out as the winner.

The judging panel also praised the van for low ownership costs, good driver appeal and strong support from Citroen, calling it “a very likeable van”.
